MHJA Points
MHJA Point System
We thought it would be a good idea to inform you all as to how the point system works. As you know, the points are posted on this site and the date updated is shown on the home page. However, this may not include all show results up to that date.
MHJA sanctioned shows must send us the show results via mail. This can take from a few days to a few weeks. We can only post the points from the results we have received, so far. Also, we do not receive show results in show order. For example, we may have results from a show last week, but not from a show three weeks ago. All this means is that you cannot follow along show by show keeping track of your points. It also means that points you know you've earned may not show on the web site. Don't worry, they will. Just as soon as we receive and verify the show results. Be patient, all riders will ultimately recieve all the points they have earned.
One last thing. Please familiarize yourself with the MHJA rules. They are posted elswhere on this site. Much confusion can be eliminated by simply knowing the rules. If you don't understand something, ask your trainer before the show, or contact us for clarification. If you don't follow the rules, the points you think you've earned, won't count.
